| L.E.A.R.N.’s
primary function is helping those new to the homeschooling
journey. We hope to answer questions that arise when a family is
considering this type of education. Along with getting families started on this path, L.E.A.R.N. seeks to connect newcomers to the secular and inclusive support groups in the Greater Kansas City area. We can provide you with a list of groups, each of which has a vast array of activities and its own individual style. L.E.A.R.N. hosts 2 annual events; an all ages costume ball that we call Unprom, and a yearly reunion to catch up with those who have grown or have left homeschooling to follow a different path. L.E.A.R.N. also provides membership cards to help with educator discounts, owns a stereoscope and a microscope that are available to rent for home use, as well as hosting our regular monthly meetings. |
